The Old Trainer

Am currently attending a 4-day Management course in a 5 star hotel in KL, along with other Managers from other departments.
It has been an interesting one so far, as I'm still new in my role, and needs more knowledge about the management - the processes, strategies, skills, managing resources, managing staff, etc.
I'm now socialising more with other Managers whom I have never spoken to before lol.



The trainer for this course is my ex-trainer when I first joined SCB 2 years ago, she is a Singaporean woman who is a really good trainer/firm/no-nonsense kind of trainer. Now she has been promoted to be a Global Trainer, which means that she would travel all over the world to train staff from branches worldwide (really interesting job right!). Hence, here she is, in Msia, training us this time.



The highlight of my day today was when our trainer said this in front of the whole class : "2 years ago, I was the one who has interviewed YC, trained her for 10 days last time, now she's sitting here as a supervisor, I feel so proud of her."



I still cannot believe that she still remembers so much about me, it was such an honor to me that she said that about me today :)
